Ash _____________________________________ What the…? I squinted harder and it was Star. How could she get there before me? I raced across the bare land. “So.. the little demon finally arrives heh? Her smug smile told me that I couldn’t win. “Fine, you win…..” I say slowly. “Thank you,” she meowed politely. “Well,” I look around and then swallow in fear, “this is where it starts.” Star leaps off the top of the well and does somersaults in the air, “Time to go!” She adds cheerfully. “Stars, I hate this.” “You hate me?” She looks offended “Wha-no!” I search for the right words that aren’t there, “I- I mean I”m telling the stars, not you by the way, that I hate going on this quest.” She nudges me playfully “Of course that’s what you mean, you should just think about what you say plus,” She smirks, “I think you look good when you’re flustered. Everywhere around the well was guarded by thick, black pines laden with pinecones and birds… well at least I assumed they were birds. How would I know if it wasn’t just a monster in disguise, but it was too late to be turning back now, for I was already walking with Star who seemed to be way more cheerful than me. Whoosh! An arrow sails over my head. “Did you see that?” I question Star. “See what?” She says sarcastically, “Of course I saw it was right next to you!” I nudged her with my wing while gritting my teeth, “Well… thanks. I’ll scout the area to see what did that.” “Sounds good to me! Should I like… make a military base or something?” Star looks around the trees nervously like something might just leap out of nowhere as an ambush. And let me tell you that’s exactly what happened. Should I tell you the whole thing? Yeah, sure, why not? After Star had said she would build a military base another arrow flew over our heads and straight into rock. Then another and another, it was literally raining arrows. Then, out of nowhere I stepped on a twig Snap! Only it wasn’t a twig, it was lager and silver with wires running though its core. A trap… I realized too late a net shot around me flinging me into the air a shadowy figure caught the net I was in and up I went.
