Sources: Lemme just start with this: I hate you rn Google. Why did you only give me Face Magazine and Instargram posts about Dobby the KITTEN! AND HOW CUTE HE IS!! RAGE! /Dobby is adorable and I doom scrolled pictures of him for an hour. WASTING time I was trying to research.... yay procrastination! But at the same times, this was very fascinating and I really enjoy medical research and learning in general! (so long as its not school lol...) Actual Research Paragraph: Auricular Polyotia in cats is a condition that means there are two extra 'ears'. These ear-like flaps are not actually connected to the ear canals, so they cannot hear from this second pair of 'ears'. The flap does not affect their hearing. This is a rare, recessive, genetic mutation affects very few cats. Said to effect one in a million cats. Similar versions condition shows up also in humans, dogs, every cat breed, and a few rabbits. One cat who was affected by auricular polyotia is Audio. Audio was examined by a vet, and seems to have no hearing issues. Audio was also found to have no behavioral issues. Another cat affected is Dobby. Dobby's genetic mutation also caused severe overbite and a curled tail, however not every cat with auricular polyotia has other mutations. Research for Moongladekit. Space or click for next backdrop. These are picture from face magazine, and readit. (I know the pictures don't count as research alone, I just thought they'd be helpful to show real world examples) Some photos are admittedly unrelated. But I was showing my work process okay?
