so like this rant will range across multiple topics and may or may not have proper punctuation or spelling viewer discretion is advised *** First of all, I don't get why ppl think Muslims are all like extremist and radicalism and stuff just because some idiots decided to crash into 2 towers. If you are reading this, just know that not all of us are crazy like that. The word "Islam" comes from the Arabic word "salam", meaning peace. And there is nothing in the Quran about attacking ppl before they attack you. There are actually multiple places where it says for the Prophet's (SAW) army to wait for the opposing army to attack them before counterattacking. Additionally, I feel like I live in a balance between supporting lgbtq+ and not. I don't get it, I don't get how ppl decide to overwrite their purpose, but I still respect them as human beings. I don't like like ppl advertising it everywhere like you can keep it to yourself, but its not like I'm gonna go outta my way to persecute you. (If you want me to explain more, you can go find my chatroom on my profile.) And this brings me to my next topic, discrimination. Actually, just bullying and being mean in general. I don't get why some people think they're better than others, if I'm being real. I mean, I get it but I don't get it. Like, we don't need to bully someone endlessly just because of the color of their skin. I have never experienced this personally but there's something I'm really mad about that happened to my friend (who's also Black) at the beginning of this school year. So someone called her the n-word, then she told the principal (who has reminded us about bullying the entire school year) who did nothing bc the kid lied about it. When my friend's mom got mad at her, she still didnt punish the kid but she gave my friend a leadership position that is by-appointment-only. But I digress. My point is, even the ppl in power who claim to be against Next topic: the war in iran I did some Google searching about Iran hasn't done anything wrong, like okay they had a bad ruler, blah blah blah but they didn't attack first. israel did. israel has been attacking first in every conflict the two countries have had, and they somehow got the US to help them out so now its a really unfair fight. And why is Trump tryna get iran to not have nuclear weapons when we literally have them too like if anyone needs to get rid of them its us. Next: the way ppl think the govt defines the population. To me, it feels like ppl think that if your govt is bad (like terrorist or whatever) that automatically means you are bad too. It has been proven time and time again throughout history that when your leader is a tyrant, that doesn't mean the ppl are tyrannical. Like not all Iranians are extremists. I have a friend whose dad fled Iran in the 90s or smth and she is one of the nicest ppl I know. And this is also why we shouldnt have wars, because innocent civilians who had nothing to do with the issue always end up getting hurt. In the case of the Iran war, the only ppl who had a problem were Trump, Netanyahu, and Khameni (idk how to spell it sorry). If they had just met up and talked like at Camp David in the 70s, a whole lotta stuff coulda been avoided, like gas prices going up and world unpeace and everything, y'all get what I'm saying. And this brings me back to my other point about not judging people based on their govt. So if you guys find any people who's parents or grandparents are iranian, don't be mean to them.
