Tentaclekit will also stand up for his siblings if others speak behind their back or threaten them in any way. // Fun fact: Bicaudal tails were often seen in Japanese folklore! They’re called Nekomata :3 Personality - Tentaclekit deeply cares about other cats’ feelings, but often withholds his own, very often coming off as cold. When he speaks up, he often states hard truths, but sometimes manages to not be too blunt, in fear of hurting the other cats’ feelings. He is a great problem-solver, but underneath that exterior he is incredibly anxious, thinking of every little bad thing that could happen, and will try to distract himself from them by driving himself into work or play. He keeps his emotional walls up, often feigning happiness or anger to mask sadness. He often holds onto the fact that all cats should be able to be truthful to themselves, if they can’t to others… but he really doesn’t follow that himself. Research: [Small thing: I did end up having to research polycaudality!] Polycaudal, or bicaudal, cats are born with two tails. Most of the cats with bicaudal can’t move their tails without unison, each movement being the same as the other, but do have full control over both of them. Sometimes motor control can vary from cat to cat, with one tail (either left or right), having more detailed (pun heh) movements. In only one case did one of the tails of a cat with bicaudal had to be amputated, where the nervous tissue was not completely formed. Having two tails doesn’t affect the structure of the muscles of the cat’s rear, but the vertebrae are mis-shapen and the spinal cavity is in two divided parts. Often, the tails of a bicaudal cat are next to each other (except in one instance). There are a couple of different kinds of bicaudal tails that have been described as different letters, including T, V, and Y. (Tentaclekit most likely falls in with V) I'll put my art here a bit later!
