Instructions

Kalei shoved a handful of popcorn into her mouth, stared at the TV excitedly. Her friends were sitting next to her, Tourmaline on one side, and Lantern on the other. The intro to the Prism League had just started, it was the word "prism" spelt out with tiny triangles, then the word "league" appeared beneath it. The screen then showed the commentators, who began to speak, "Hello Prismarians! It's me, Marble, here to commentate on the league finals!" He turned to the person sitting next to him, "And joining me is none other than the league legend themself, who captained their team to three league victories in a row, Cyan Solis! How does the line up look today, Cyan?" "Oh, it looks like a match to remember, Marble!" Replied Cyan enthusiastically, "So let's meet the teams!" "They're burning bright, blazing high, and about to burn us to a crisp!" Began Marble, "It's the Blazing Titans!" The Blazing Titans certainly knew how to hype the crowd, and after a few dramatic poses, they created a giant lion out of fire, its body shone golden and was sleek and elegant. Its mane however, was burning like a wildfire, the fiery tendrils dancing and sparking like crazy. The lion roared and ran through the air, over the crowd, leaving a trail of shimmering heat behind it. "EEEEEEEEE! THEBLAZINGTITANSARESOCOOL!" Squealed Lantern, squeezing his Kindling toy (Kindling is the name of the lion). Kalei rolled her eyes good-naturedly, and nudged Lantern, to get him to pay attention to the game. "Next up and making history, it's their first finals appearance, the Moonlight Monsoons from the Waveriders!" They hyped the crowd too, then summoned their mascot-Rainstorm-a huge water dragon, made out of, well water. Rainstorm flew up then dove down in a spiral, leaving a fine mist of droplets that refracted the light into a rainbow. "For the Stonekeepers, prepare to be dazzled, it's the Silver Sentinels!" Said Cyan. Tourmaline grinned and leaned forward with anticipation, her antlers gleaming with silver paint. The Silver Sentinels smiled at their fans, and used the very arena itself to form a huge stag, Aregentum. Argentum elegantly leaped over the crowd, and looked up, so the sunlight caught on its silver horns. Cyan then continued to introduce the next team, "Representing the Skyweavers, blink and you'll miss them, it's the Tailwind Tornadoes!" Kalei smiled to herself, she loved watching the crazy performances that the Tailwind Tornadoes put together. They flew in an aerial formation so that their mascot was below them, their mascot was a blue and gold macaw, named Twister. Twister dove and glided around the team in an energetic yet elegant way before fading like all the previous ones. "And finally, you'll never see them coming, it's the Shaded Starlings from the Shadowsteppers!" They smiled at their fans, and formed a huge starling, Umbra who flew low over the audience, Umbra's wings left trails of shining black stars which faded as soon as they touched something. The Skyweavers in the audience immediately made a game of trying to keep one afloat for as long as possible. The game ended after some hard stares from the Shadowsteppers.
