Before TADC ends, I want to say some things about the show. Two years ago, on April 19, 2024, I was watching YouTube videos when I saw a short of someobe making a paper doll of Ragatha, and when I clicked on it, I heard a fansong for TADC and was like "Oh wow this song is good I wonder what it's about." That weekend, I watched every video I could about TADC, and learned that episode 2 would be coming out in less than 2 weeks. Even if I didn't get to watch it live, I still knew that I was a fan of the show when I watched episode 2 and the pilot later. And that's how I got into the fandom. This show genuinely made me who I am today. I know that might sound corny, but it's true. Every time something difficult or sad happened, I would be like "oh the next episode comes out in 2 weeks I can make it to then" or "I just need to make it to next week to see episode 4, so I need to finish this homework." This show has helped me make new friends irl and on Scratch and it has also made me want to draw and try to animate. TADC is also the show that got me into indie animation, so without it, I probably wouldn't know about MD, KOG, TGD, Gameoverse, Ramshackle, and other indie animations. Its been amazing to see how the show and the characters have grown. If you told someone from just 2 years ago that TADC would be coming to theaters, they wouldn't believe you, and now, it was in theaters all over the world. I will really miss TADC, and every new theory, every new fansong with or without the voice actors for TADC, and every new cool artwork. To the people that worked on TADC, you did an amazing job at telling this story. Before this show ends, can we as a fandom make one promise? A promise to keep this fandom alive, even if the show is over and GLITCH or Gooseworx don't post about it anymore? Also, don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened and you were there to see it. Smile because you were able to see how the show that paved the way for indie animation ended. Even if you weren't there since the very start, or became a fan of the show later, you were still here to see how TADC ended. Goodbye TADC, the internet won't forget this masterpiece of a show, especially me.
I'm not crying about the show ending today, YOU are.
