I was looking out at the woods on my deck one night when this baby came towards me. She was about as big as a young squirrel, maybe smaller if you remove the fluff. She was iridescent, sorta rainbowy like an opal. So then I looked for a few more, and like...wow. They live in trees, I´ve observed. I took the rainbow one home, she seemed to like it. I called her Dessa, like Iridescent. And her species I´m calling Iridis. Care - They eat plants, seeds, fruits, and some bugs like flies - Feed them berries or nuts like walnuts, pecans, ect - They are roughly the size of a squirrel with wings - They glow in rainbowy colors like their fur color - They can fly like small birds, using tails as counterweights - They will bathe, use your sink or a bowl with a gentle soap - These lil guys can sleep anywhere, although they often climb trees or shelves
