March 22nd, 1908 The riots have grown out of control. Protestors and partisans overwhelm police lines, and the military has been called to end the protests with force. March 25 and 26th, 1908 The military has arrived. Soldiers respond to thrown rocks with rifle fire and machine guns, while dissenters are arrested. The protestors are drowned out with flame in the events of Bloody Thursday. However, in the ruins, the Red League of Corynth is born, an alliance between syndicalists, socialists, anarchists, and communists unhappy with the government of Corynth, believing that they have exhausted their democratic means to freedom, and must break their chains with force.
