With the rise of the new Monarchy in Sweden. The government wanted to bring the nation back to its greatest glory and try to reunite lands that were once ours under the great Swedish flag. The assault started with a declaration of war against Finland. As we wanted to expand into its nation to try and gain the key population that it has in the south near its capital. Soon after this troops were quickly moved to the border and were ordered to push into the nation. In the north men on skis would slide down the slopes and snowy areas in the north. They would move along paths to try and attack the enemy quickly before they could figure out what was going on. This would somewhat work but a few times the enemy would see them before they reached the target and they failed the mission. They would also aim for tanks, as when they moved through they would throw sticky grenades at them as they moved by. This would heavily weaken the enemy defenses in the north due to the lack of armored vehicles. These forces would also move to try and cut off supply lines. This would starve the enemy out and force them to retreat to try and get more supplies. Artillery would be set up in the snow covered hills. They would be painted gray and white to attempt and stop enemy forces from seeing them before they fired upon the enemy. They would be set up by paths and other key areas that the enemy used to try and attack them while they advanced. This would weaken them near the front lines as well. Light vehicles would push in from the north to attempt and flank enemy forces as they retreated. They would move through paths and other areas that would help them force the enemy back. They would manage to capture large amounts of forces and would force them to surrender or be destroyed. (Naval invasion.) Our navy would strike key military bases around the coast to attempt and destroy the enemy defenses on the coast. This would see over a hour long bombardment of the coast line. This would destroy 90% of enemy fortifications and the others that were left were heavily damaged. After this around 5k would land on the coast. They would start pushing up the beach with the aid of aircraft that would attack enemy positions to attempt to relieve our troops on the breach. They would move up as enemy forces used artillery to attack them as forces pushed up the beaches. Tanks would land on the beaches. They would move up the beaches and would help infantry push up and attack enemy trenches. They would manage to overwhelm enemy forces and would force them into retreat as machine gun fire would mow down enemy troops as they tried to retreat.
