She wasn’t quite sure what at all she was. A girl, a robot, a monster. They never really took the time to tell her. To them, she was their own tiny human looking assassin. Kill the Deceptions, kill the human, kill any who could have ever done us wrong. If anything, it was the least of their concerns. There concerns were plenty, if not miles, long. And they never once included telling her anything about what she was. Not that it would even matter once she knew. It wouldn’t make a difference would it, she thought; clenching tighter around the pipe that, until then she had not known she was holding on to. Scrap she thought as she watched the pipe unhinge itself from the wall, on bolt at at time. She was in mid air for a second before the crashing pressure of gravity pulled her down. Falling falling, she didn’t know how far. She clung tightly onto the disgruntled pipe, failing to engage the thrusters on her feet. The buildings flew by her in smears of brown and gray and windy tears flew upwards. Just when she had thought about crashing into uneven fleshy metal scrap onto the sidewalk below, one of her feet snagged on an open clothing line and it rapped around her ankle and she twisted upside down. The pipe slipped from her grasp as she bungeed, the close line whipping her up and down slightly. “Xn!” The booming voice of Optimus hissed into her ear. She flinched and the thin line keeping her hanging snapped. She reached out for the lost pipe which has stuck itself between two buildings and swing herself, holding on for dear life. “Where on Cybertron have you been!” Optimus screamed. “A little busy right now Prime.” Xn responded, clenching her hand tightly onto the pipe. “Well get back here IMMEDIATELY!” “I’m coming.” He grumbled again before hanging up, leaving Xn by herself. She powered up her boosters and took off into the sky. She landed hard onto the metallic floor of the ship, skidding. She took a deep breath, shivers cascading up and down her body as she prepared herself to look at the huge angry tyrant leader. She shot upwards to face Optimus as he sat angrily on his golden throne. His large red eyes flashed at me, shining against the dark purple and muted gray of his helm. “Your late.” He hissed. “For you information sir,” Xn started, “It’s not very easy to find this place.” “You abandoned your mission!” He slammed a fist on the side rest. “I,” “And your patrol.” “S-prime I- I was doing my- job.” Try as she might, she felt her heavy teenage confidence slipping. “Get in your position.” Xn walked backwards slowly and scooted herself in between Ironhide and Bugbite who scowled at her with their shining red optics.
