BREAKING NEWS ✦ ╔═════════════════════╗ AN OPEN EVIL SQUIRRELPAW AU ╚═════════════════════╝ ✧ ─── ❖ ─── ✧ ─── ❖ ─── ✧─── ❖ ─── ✧ ⚠ STORYLINE ⋆ This MAP follows the story of Squirrelpaw, as she becomes increasingly frustrated with her Clanmates, especially Brambleclaw. ⋆ Eventually, she decides to get "revenge" on her Clan by attacking Brambleclaw, the warrior who wronged her. ⋆ uhm yeah lots of lore its honestly mostly self-explanatory via script and storyboard but thats the gist of it im bad at writing these who made me write this ✧ ─── ❖ ─── ✧ ─── ❖ ─── ✧─── ❖ ─── ✧ ⚠ RULES ⋆ Please try to follow the storyboard and script! You can adjust slightly to fit what you're most comfortable with but just please try to follow it mostly! if you're unsure, ask! ⋆ Storyboard plays when you click the flag, but if you go inside the project and place the "Broadcast (message" and "play (sound) until done" blocks and click them, (select the part you want), it'll show you the storyboard for the part you specified. Script is inside the "refs" sprite. ⋆ Please follow the refss!!! Shading is not required but appreciated, if you have a night part tho (6 onwards) it would be appreciated if you could put a translucent layer over the characters at 36% opacity to make them fit into the environment. use the same purple that is in the shading instructions ^^ try to make it clip to specifically the characters though, if possible, since if its over the whole screen, itll make the bg even more purple lol. (alternatively: just use the day bg then put the purple lighting over the full frame) ⋆ For due dates, check the "due dates" section! ⋆ Classic MAP rules- no AI, Picrew, Gacha, Tracing, ect. i mean tracing the storyboard is honestly fine because thats almost exactly what it's here for lol ⋆ AMV is HEAVILY preffered! if you need to do PMV, please speak to me and we might be able to sort something out, but this is an amv map :3 even just tweening is mostly fine as long as it follows! (depends on the part you have) ⋆ hopefully shouldn't need to say this but please do not put others or yourself down! This includes but is not limited to things like "I have the worst part in the map!", "This is the BEST part in the map", ect ⋆ pls don't do fake parts!! if you really, really want to do a fake part, get permission from both me and the person who currently has the part, and clearly title the project as a fake part ⋆ tnes should have the words "attention! breaking news" and "a completed evil squirrelpaw au", any order works. ⋆ watermarking! pleasepleaseplease don't put your watermark in the bottom right corner (where the part number currently is) you can put your watermark literally anywhere else if you want a watermark but i will be putting your username there! so in the final your part will have your name on it, - please don't put that there yourself! i'll be putting all the names in so plspls don't do that! tot ✧ ─── ❖ ─── ✧ ─── ❖ ─── ✧─── ❖ ─── ✧ ⚠ DUE DATES ⋆ parts will be due roughly 3 months after handout, though extensions are very loose and can easily be requested! ⋆ though with this much time, i also want to make sure that participants don't forget about their part! ⋆ WIPs will be due weekly or fortnightly (we'll see how this goes, probably fortnightly and then changing to weekly as we get closer to the end of the map) ⋆ this can be a verbal or visual wip- even just "I didn't do anything this week" is fine! just as long as you respond. ⋆ Every month (or 4 weeks) a visual wip is due, regardless of where you are at. If you are unable to give a visual wip, please let me know ASAP and tell me why! ⋆ following onto that, if something is going on for you, please don't go into personal details! just saying that something is going on and you do not have time to work on the part is more than enough ^^ ⋆ WIP checks will be held on the same day, i'll round them around to the same day. ⋆ On the day of the wip check, you will have 3 days to respond, or you will be dropped!
