"Now you've met the teams, let's get started!" Called Marble, "3," a huge glowing three appeared over the arena, "2," a sparkly two appeared next to it, "1," a rainbow one floated beneath the other two numbers, "GOOOOOO!" The number smashed together, making an explosion of sparks and with that the teams were off. "Ooh, look at that, the Moonlight Monsoons are already spinning the water around them, this is way different to the way the Azure Tides usually play, what other surprises will they have in store?" Commented Cyan. "And the Silv-NO WAY!" Yelled Marble, "Did Misty Eastwind just eliminate the Silver Sentinels' captain?!" I "She certainly did Marble," Replied Cyan, "There's not really a way to out-manoeuvre an Airweaver!" "This already looks like it'll shape up to be an intense match!" Grinned Marble. Misty Eastwind grabbed the hands of a teammate and flew them over the arena, they launched sparks at anyone in their way before dropping to the ground and rolling out of sight. "Look, Cyan! Look at that! A duel of captains, Fuego Vulcan is facing off against Mariana Deepwater, who will be the first to score?" Mariana was launching water at Fuego like a supercharged water cannon, and Fuego was evaporating the attacks with blue fire. "Go Fuego! Go Fuego! Go Fuego!" Chanted Lantern, Kalei smiled at him, she knew how much he idolized Fuego, but just as he finished his fifth 'go Fuego' Mariana slipped past a fire burst and sprayed Fuego with bright, ocean blue sparks. "NOOOOOOOO!" Cried Lantern. "What?!" Exclaimed Cyan, "No way, oh stars, no WAY!"
