OK, guys I'm an atheist, so I don't believe in any god and I don't adhere to any creed, here I'll just state my points why I decided to leave the religion. I feel like discussing this with someone a bit, peacefully, so feel free to comment on anything that isn't offensive
You will notice that most of the points have something to do with Christianity/Catholicism, this is because I was raised in this religion and so I feel more confident discussing it. 1.If god exists, what is his advantage in giving birth to people in other religions? I mean, why would he give birth to people in a situation where they can't go to heaven? They don't choose their creed, so they will automatically end up in hell 2.According to God, we are all equal, but then why will only believers go to heaven? If we are all the same, going to hell should only happen to people who do unjust things, like criminals (netanyau for example) 3.So, I don't know if this is the case in other religions too, but in Christianity you just have to ask for forgiveness and you'll end up in heaven. It's a bit of a meaningless thing, think: let's pretend that the mustachioed man, in his bunker, an hour before dying, had asked God for forgiveness, he would have gone to heaven. While instead, Jews who died in concentration camps would have gone to hell because of their religion. I think you can understand that this is unfair 4.why should one pray? since god, theoretically, is omnipotent, he would have no need for proof of our devotion, because he would simply know it 5.where is the evidence? the only thing they tell you to make you believe in god is to have hope, it's not proof, it's an excuse. 6.the big bang question and the evolution question: often as proof of its existence it is said "who created the big bang?" Simply nothing. Before the Big Bang, time didn't exist, so nothing happened before, not even time passed. And about evolution: there's clear evidence of its reality, as well as the fact that we evolved some plants/animals precisely to obtain their best verisone. And all fossils are clearly evidence of evolution
