But as you can tell from the title, I feel largely “eh what the heck” about it now. Ai is still not good ofc tho. 2- I’m not coming back to scratch. I have no desire to. 3- EA is officially cancelled. Not indefinite hiatus, cancelled fr fr. I’m glad I spent my time on it, but I no longer have any desire to work on it. 4- Sorry about the delay in the making of prizes for the craft contest. I have a few finished, but not all. If the winners have in the time it’s taken gained a new OC they’d rather I draw instead, link it here or my profile and I’ll do that one. 5- College has been great. I’ve made a lot of good friends. 6- It turns out that if you offer to do the dishes, so many friends will be willing to share their food with you. Wonderful for me since I’m not a huge fan of cooking, and I am very tired of dining hall food. 7- If you’re in middle school and you’re thinking “damn why does everything suck”, that’s because middle school sucks. It’ll get better. For now just try to be nice to each other, spend time outside, read books, and please don’t join fandoms of adult media. Like listen, I’ve been your age, I get it, I know nothing anyone says will make you not watch it. But if you gotta, be a silent lurker about it. Draw fan art just for yourself and your irls, don’t post it, and don’t be joining online discussions about it. It isn’t a safe environment. And genuinely do have a trusted adult on hand. Parent, friends parent, teacher, whatever. Just have some adult you can talk to. Obviously I can’t speak for everyone, but by and large, an adult you trust will not be mad at you for whatever uncomfortable stuff you’ve stumbled upon on the internet, and will be there to help you. 8- Labels for gender and sexuality and all that are adjectives, not objective facts. Up to you if and how you want to use them. It isn’t a science. Don’t worry about it too much. If something makes you happy and it’s not hurting others, that’s all that matters. 9- Art should always be fun. If it isn’t, try to figure out why that is and work around that. For instance, it turns out I really don’t like doing clean line art. So now I do sketchy or lasso tool for most art. There are two million different ways to do art, experiment with it. Maybe try linocarving. Linocarving is pretty fun. You can do it on erasers. 10- I’m kinda trying to do a little restart offsite. I don’t want to bring much of scratch with me. Don’t look for me, I don’t want to be found. If you must engage with me, do so as a mutual artist, not as a fan. I don’t want fans right now. 11- I will only ever check messages on my profile or on this project. If you have something you want to ask, do it here.
