here ya go!! please tell me if I need to provide more research, or you would rather I not have the kit /polite The following are weekly research notes, more in depth than the offsite comments. From Harvard university, division of sleep medicine, There are a couple of other impacts I have listed below, I'm reading through the article as I write this and have not yet found many details about these. -mental fogginess that causes difficulty with concentration. -memory issues and automatic behaviors that lead to mental fogginess and uncertainty about events. -sleepiness that can cause unintentional napping during important parts of the day (like school and work) and can strain relationships. -cataplaxy, sleep related hallucinations, and sleep paralysis, all of which can be frightening and misunderstood by peers. It can also effect social interactions, -strain on the body to stay awake during social gatherings - Confusion or grumpiness upon waking -The need to take naps, often at inconvenient times. -experiencing cataplexy at inconvenient times, such as when at a party. -Hallucinations during conversations or other important moments. *pausing research momentarily*
Reading through offsite comments on how to portray ppl with the disorder <3 notes will be added here (spelling will be bad lol ;-;) Cataplexy doesn't seem to be incredibly intense, people don't often fall or collapse as far as I have seen. sleep fragmentation has been mentioned once so far. I haven't seen anything about it on the sources I used, yet it seems to be waking mid-sleep and then falling into insomnia.(.?) Some ppl feel shame about Narcolepsy or falling asleep midday, especially pre-diagnoses. I will not be including this aspect as I don't have the disability.
