Hey, I'm honestly somewhat disappointed I have to make this project, but here we are. If you want to have an AT/DT with me, please read everything in here. 1. The WIP/WIP rule: I will not upload my side unless both you and me first upload a work in progress of the trade. Be it lineart, design notes, anything that proves that you're working on it. Very VERY strict about this. PS: I will literally cancel the trade if you fail to show the WIP. 2. Character Ownership: If I have a design made by you, you have to be comfortable with me possibly giving it away in swaps or otherwise. I will ofcourse, inform the new owner to credit you. I WILL NOT sell them for real currency, note this. 3. Design Freedom: I will not accept designs from users who place strict restrictions on altering the character and on usage. I hate overly restrictive rules. Once a character is mine, I have to be allowed to make tweaks to personalize them. I will never alter it to the point of obscurity, but I will not agree to "no edits allowed" rules because to the core, they're pointless. Also I will use this design whenever I want, I understand the "You must use this design every ___ or else I'll take it back" rule most artists put up, but you need to realise the fact that people have a life outside of this and art is not always their topmost priority. also, PS, if I enter a DTA/OTA that has these rules, I will respect them because I did so of my own accord. This is just for DTs. 4. Species: I usually prefer cat/dog hybrids, unless stated otherwise. This isn't super strict, this is just what I expect normally! Do not feel pressured to follow this one. 5. ***Deadlines and Ghosting***: Honestly, I'm sick of this. If you're going to ghost me completely after agreeing to a trade or payment (like an OTA pay), you will be greylisted. I understand if it takes you a few days to respond, but if we're dragging a conversation for weeks, or even months (yes this has happened), I'm just not interested anymore. 6. Your behavior: I will not trade with anyone who has a known history of ghosting, severely delaying trades, or getting defensive when asked for updates. Also crazy that i have to mention this but if you use AI or steal others art/designs, I'm not trading with you. Deadlines: 1. For ATs/DTs: Utmost 2 weeks, extensions allowed but max time to work on it will be a month. Don't bother completing the trade if a month's passed and you're not done. You can only have a longer extension if you're trustworthy or are communicating with me enough for me to trust you, or even if you have something important coming up like an exam or something. 2. OTA payments: Depends on the payment. Finally, a note: So overall I've always been mostly relaxed with rules. I didn't even have a single rule for ATs/DTs/payments till now, but I realise I have to now. This whole thing may read as a power trip, but all I want is a smooth and friendly transaction between two artists. Just a heads-up: I tend to finish my sides very fast lol (usually within 1–2 days). This does NOT mean I rushed your art! Like, when I accept a trade, I really just sit down and work on it ALL day, like 4-5 hours continuously. Please don't panic or feel rushed when I drop my side! All said, I just want respect for my time and efforts. I've had artists in the past, some nice and some so much, who have eventually skipped out on handling their responsibilities. Speaking nice truly isn't enough if your behavior doesn't reflect the same. I've decided to remove the list, mostly because i dont want ST to ban me for no reason bruh.)
