tw. pain, infection, death, all that stuff. do not read if sensitive. in short, shiningwatcher died to his wound getting infected to a point of no return. - - - PERFIDY /ˈpərfədē/ ' a profound breach of trust where someone shatters the faith of a person or entity that loved or relied on them ' - - - pain. that was all he felt. that was all he could think of. pain. agonizing, numbing, searing, freezing pain. he could not breathe. he could not see. and then he could not feel. anything at all. he felt nothing. and he was returned to nothing. he was nothing. falling deeper, deeper into the black sea, as it turned crimson. he awoke once again, breathing heavily. the scent of rot brushed against her nose. but- this couldn't be- this wasn't the dark forest. it didn't exist. he didn't belong here. maybe- maybe this was some tease from starclan, a small harmless joke to welcome him as one of them. one of the stars that he had worshiped all his life. that he had given so much to. that he severed so many bonds for. perfidy. was the afterthought that came to mind. deny all he liked, say it isn't true. but he knew. he knew. it was perfidy. . . . shiningwatcher's dead, rotting body was subsequently carried out of the medic den. the death of flurryclan's deputy became known to the clan shortly after.

I was grateful for the opportunity for him to become deputy, and for all that interacted with him. I am satisfied with his life, so I am not too upset. my only gripe is his incomplete villain arc. but overall. I am happy with the life he lived. thank you.
