Q: Why do you use MOGAI? A: I use the acronym MOGAI instead of LGBTQ+ or queer because of its format. Acronyms like LGBTQ+ rely on a growing list of letters/abbreviations, which can leave groups out, therefore require more letters, thus creating lexical monstrosities that are much too long, like, "LGBTIQCAPGNGFNBA+". MOGAI stands for: "Marginalized Orientations, Gender Identities and Intersex". This acronym allows for the inclusion of all marginalized identities--specifically ones that diverge from societal norms of gender, attraction, or s3x characteristics. TLDR; MOGAI is shorter and more inclusive
