Dark is pretty new, and his temperament isn’t the trusting type, so I wanted to do some bonding with him before getting started on his career. As for Astro, we’ve been doing a lot lately. Shows, updates, full steam ahead, but we haven’t done a whole lot of just….relaxing, hanging out. I believe that bonding with a horse is just as important as working with them, so I hung out with these two for a few hours. I sat tin the pasture and let the approach me, and at one point I climbed on Dark’s back and sat there a bit, but didn’t direct him anywhere and just let him graze. We watched the sun go down and they both looked stunning in the fading light, and I’m happy to took approximately 4 hours out of my day to hang out with them.
