Hello everybody, and welcome to the project for the Seaclan/Dustrunners exchange program! This project will contain all the basics of the program, as well as how you can sign your cat up for it! Feel free to ask any questions in the appropriate section in the comments. ~ About the program The exchange program aims to accomplish three main purposes: 1) Build camaraderie between the Dustrunners and Seaclan 2) Allow cats to experience life beyond their borders 3) Give cats a chance to learn new skills and talents For the following section, I will be using the example of a Seaclanner visiting the Dustrunners, but it does work in reverse. A Seaclanner on the exchange program will be given a comfortable home among the Dustrunners, and will be expected to obey the local laws and customs. Of course, there might be a learning curve, and the local Dustrunners would be expected to be understanding of that. The Seaclanner will be given opportunities to meet Dustrunners, learn about their lifestyle, and if they would like and are allowed to, participate in hunting and border patrols. The Seaclanner is permitted and encouraged to ask Dustrunners questions about life in the Barrens. The Seaclanner would be expected to return and report on their experience to Azurestar. Cats can only stay on the exchange program for 2-3 moons. This must be chosen before they go, and cannot be altered once they arrive. ~ Rules of the program (In-roleplay rules) 1) Abide by local customs and laws. Misbehavior will be punished by your home residence’s authority figure(s). 2) Your cat will be expected to provide their way among the group somehow. Whether that be through denkeeping, collecting herbs, hunting, or going on border patrols is up to discussion between your cat and the local authority. 3) For Dustrunners visiting Seaclan, your character will be expected to attend the clan Gathering! 4) For Seaclanners visiting the Dustrunners, your character will be expected to participate in the group’s meetings (should they come up). 5) Both Azurestar and Soulfaith must agree that a cat is allowed to participate in the exchange. If either disapprove, the cat will not be permitted to participate. (Out-of-roleplay rules) 1) Please follow TSS rules. 2) Show respect to everyone– don’t freak out if your application isn’t accepted. 3) Not a firm “rule”, but try to be active for the period during your exchange! ~ NOTICE TO DUSTRUNNERS: Clan life is /very/ different from loner life. While in the clan, Soulfaith fully expects you to oblige by the warrior code and submit to Azurestar’s authority. Misbehavior will be punished on a case-by-case basis, ranging from additional patrols to camp confinement to exile, should the misdemeanor prove serious enough. ~ NOTICE TO SEACLANNERS: The Barrens is /hot/. It’s a desert, and it’s not the most accommodating to Seaclanners. You will be transported from the ocean to the Oasis during nighttime, when the heat of the desert begins to dissipate. You are not expected to overexert or overheat yourself and are more than welcome to rest in the shade of the dens or the Oasis until the cooling night returns again. ~ Current cats on the exchange (home residence): Example: 1) Examplepaw (username) (time remaining) Seaclan: 1) Albatrossmoon ( ) (3 moons) 2) Barnacleheart ( ) (2 moons) 3) Greenhope () (3 moons) 4) Octopusmask () (2 moons) Dustrunners: 1) Flurry ( ) (2 moons) 2) 3) 4) ~ SIGN-UP FORM: Character name | Home residence | How long will your character live with the other group? | Why do they want to participate in the exchange program? | Would the group your character is staying with be expected to make any accommodations for your character? If so, what? ~ Quick Links: Seaclan Studio: Barrens Studio: Dustrunners Studio: Soulfaith: Azurestar:
