Introducing the Midland WR120DSP The WR120DSP features S.A.M.E Digital code inputs, letting you select your county without being woken up from an alert from another state. It includes all 50 States of the United States of America and all counties/cities for easy programming if you don't have your SAME code. With the NOAA, we give you access to seven different frequencies of channels that cover your county, such as: 162.400 162.425 162.450 162.475 162.500 162.525 and 162.550 megahertz. With three LEDs and a sliding text for what exact type of alert you got, we have Advisory with a yellow color, Watch with an amber orange color, and Warning with a red/dark red color. With three different types of sirens for all three types of alerts (warning, watch, advisory which can be found in the sounds of WR120DSP Branding sprite), with the option to choose from the old 90DB siren at high, medium for a close by grab, like in a shelter, and low just for the office and still to stay alert without causing a disturbance. With an on and off switch, it's an easy way to keep alerts away from you, but it must be on to receive alerts. An built-in alarm feature is in the radio, just set it in the menu, and when it goes off, you can press "WEATHER/SNOOZE" to snooze, while "MENU" stops the alarm and will go off the next day as intended.
Troubleshooting: I can't get it to power on: That is either from no power cord, or no batteries inserted. Plug in the AC Adapter to an outlet and the other in the radio, and insert batteries Incase of an outage. I can't get my channel to play: Make sure your channel is set and have the antenna FULLY extended. Place it in an area that gets good reception, and if not possible, you may need to buy an external antenna. Credits: Midland for the WR120B/WR120DSP design and logo.
