So, I discovered dreamcore and weirdcore and started to really look into it. I’ve really started getting attached to weirdcore and liminal spaces, but this makes sense since this is basically what the backrooms is. And before it died out, I really used to like it for the strange and surreal feel of the experience. I didn’t get a real nostalgic feel from a lot of it since I am still a kid (weirdcore and dreamcore are meant to give you nostalgic memories of being a kid, like kidcore or traumacore) (I’m 11 years old) but the visualisation of it is very calming and relaxing. Looking back at your old memories, places you’ve been to when you were younger. Dreamcore and weirdcore often use bright colours to give more of a dreamy feel as kids have better eyesight as their lenses are crystal clear, which allows them to pick up all bright colours which is associated with dreamcore. If I could, I’d talk about lenses of eyes but that’s completely unrelated to the subject. That’s all I have.
