With the most of the officers having fled to Stormhelm the remains of the imperial army officially surrender and march with the anti-imperial forces on the capital hoping to capture the emperor! They were cheered into the capital and surrounded the imperial palace…only to find it completely empty. Earlier that week the emperor had boarded a boat for Køngslanden (our island colony) where he planned to continue the resistance, and with the navy still in his control all seemed lost. But then a large portion of the navy switched sides, the Navy of the South’s was almost entirely made up of southern Skalarak who defect to the UAA. On the 18th of January 1906, the Republic of Skåland is declared. All is set for a final battle at sea, the battle that will decide the war.
