BGM: Bite The Crust from Pizza Tower DON'T LOOK IN THE DOORWAY It all began in about 2020-ish. Back then, 8 year old me was OBSSESED with Cuphead and Undertale. Because I was low-key broke with no way to play the actual games, Scratch was my best option. I was in awe with it. So much so that I made an account. I began to create some primitive games. Things were looking good for me! ... Then after a week, I quit and almost never touched Scratch again THE END! (Jk) Ok, so I lost a lot of my interest for Scratch (Coding was a lot harder than I initially thought). But... (Obviously) I would return after a long time Fast forward to early 2024 (When I was in 6th grade). Usually, in my fourth hour math class, after I was done with my work, I'd probably just hop on Coolmath games and do that for the rest of the hour. However, there was this kid at the front of the class who always seemed to be using Scratch after he was done. After some time, I regained interest. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember my old account details, so on March 3rd, 2024, at exactly 12:24:04 PM, I made a new account (Better to start fresh, anyways). Eventually, me and that kid became really good friends, and we worked together on this series called "Survival of the Rock". Basically, the concept was simple: Run from a JPEG of the Rock and don't die. (By the way, that kid happened to be @Chickenscratcher5569). I even managed to get a few other friends to join! (@Dino7112, @Bobdog64, and @AlexDocksson) Pretty soon, I was learning more and more about Scratch, and thanks to all of your support, I've landed here today! :D Why I love Scratch: 1: The versatility Even though this seems like some childish coding website at first, the stuff you can do with it genuinely insane. The community is very talented, and has even managed to RECREATE 2D MINECRAFT SOMEHOW 2: The welcoming community In addition to being very talented, the community is very accepting of others, regardless of their personal preferences. I kid you not... Go yap about your favorite Bluey episode! No one will judge you or call you childish just for your preferences :) 3: The ST The ST is always making sure that people who make quality projects are getting the recognition they deserve! Scratch is also non-profit, which means no one has to pay anything! It runs entirely off of donations (Which also means no ads) Anyways, thanks for listening to 40 wasted minutes of my life. Go make something cool! Oh yeah, that old account still exists.
