Instructions

Exhausted. That's how Bassie felt. She was never used to holding so much in her head. She was used to light, feather weight flowers and leaves, with no Bandages or Medkits. Though it was important, as she wanted to help the other Mains with holding the supplies they were taking back to the base soon. She sighed, 'Can't we do something else than carry heavy supplies?' she thought to herself. "Hey, Bassie! Over here!" someone called. She looked over, realizing it was Bobette. "Great, another heavy Medkit." she muttered under her breath. She ran over, feeling a little light-headed. As she was about to take the item from Bobette's hand, the bauble threw her hand back with a worried look on her face. "You feeling okay Bassie? You look quite dizzy" she said, studying Bassie's face. "I'm feeling o-" she stopped speaking as she fell backwards, all the stuff pouring out of her head. "Oh, mistletoe! You alright?" Bobette asked franticly. Bassie let out a grumble "Yeah.." she almost added 'It's not like I can shatter like you.' "Okay, here, let me help you up" she said, lending out her other, empty, hand. Bassie grabbed it, Bobette then pulled her up. "What a mess!" Bassie said, looking behind her at the the lake of leaves, flowers, and heals on the floor. "We'll clean that up" Bobette said. Then suddenly the elevator door opened. "Then we'll go to the elevator, but we gotta be quick" she added. The elevator door opened with a loud, machinal, sound. Bassie could hear slight footsteps. That wasn't good. Bassie carefully took a step out of the elevator, then pushed forward by Pebble, as he had ran out of the elevator, obviously not noticing the footsteps. "Pebble stop!" Sprout yelled after him. Pebble didn't listen. Eventually, Pebble had disappeared behind a wall. Bassie's heart skipped a beat. She waited a little, then expected to see ichor exploding from Pebble was. But nothing happened. She looked at the others. They all had puzzled expressions too. "Guys, guys!" a voice said. It was familiar to Bassie and possibly the rest. She realized that it was Pebble's translator. He was alive. They all ran over, but when they were there, he wasn't there. Bassie's eyes widened. Was he really alive, or were they all hearing things? Bassie then heard a growl behind the group. She stood still. Maybe if she stayed as quiet and still as possible, it would not notice her. 'Ugh, no! That's a stupid idea!' she thought. The growling got closer and closer. Eventually she couldn't stand there anymore and ran. "Bassie!" she heard Shelly say. Bassie then hid behind a box. The footsteps got faster. It must of heard her. She tried to be as quiet as she could. She knew it was getting closer, as she could slightly feel it's breath. It must of not noticed her, as it quickly disappeared. She sighed a big breath of relief, then she looked up and saw someone she recognized.
