He traced made up constellations through the bright stars that his pelt mimicked. A cool breeze ruffled his fur. "Ugh," he grumbled as he quickly fixed his fur, "Dumb wind." He stopped for a moment and listened into the dark surroundings. He sighed and returned to fixing his fluffy fur. "It's probably just a mouse," he muttered to himself, "It's fine." He stood up and stretched his legs. He padded back to his nest and curled up. He breathed deeply as he tried to ignore his dread. It would be fine, he told himself.
