Chapter Four: Safe...For Now I looked down at Ganons army and my heart ached. "How could I have let this happen?" I muttered, clenching my fist. "Your Highness?" The Fallen Knight asked, as he appeared beside me, "Are you alright?" I looked at him, his dark clothes almost blending in with the coming-night sky, the only difference was his red eyes. "Is this what you really look like?" I asked, with a smile. He let out a small laugh and shook his head. "No, this is merely a disguise, if I was to show my true self Ganon would run," he replied. "Then why didn't you make him run?" I asked, confused. He sighed and looked at the setting sun. "Hylia would break the bond I made with you. You wouldn't be safe," he replied. I bit my lip, "Why are you so concerned about my safety?" I asked. He looked away and put his hand on mine. "I-I'm not sure," he replied, as Hateno Village came into view. "We're here," Purah announced. We got out of the hot-air balloon, and walked into the Tech-Lab. "So how are we meant to stop Ganondorfs army?" Robbie asked, as the Fallen Knight stumbled against the wall. "Are you alright?" Purah asked, turning to him. "I-I'll be fine, I can help myself," he winced, stumbled into a room and locking the door. "That guy is still weird, how do you trust him?" Purah asked, glancing at me. I looked back at the door and wondered myself; How do I really know to trust you? We made plans to find warriors and unite the lands of Hyrule. "We should get some sleep, it's getting late," Robbie sighed, looking at me and Purah. I nodded and went into a room Purah showed me. "Good night Zelda," Purah nodded closing the door. I stayed awake for a while and thought about what must be happening back at the castle. "Zelda?" the Fallen Knight's voice whispered, from behind the door. "C-come in," I sniffled, stopping slow tears. He opened the door. "How are your injures?" I asked, wiping tears. He smiled, "I'll be okay, but I'm not great at wrapping them," he chuckled, sitting down in a chair. "I-I can help, my mother taught me how to dress wounds," I replied, grabbing some wraps from a nearby desk, "Only if you'd want me to!" He laughed a bit and nodded, "It's fine, only if I take off my mask will Hylia's bond be undone." I nodded and he slowly slipped off his torn shirt. I gently wrapped his cuts and gashes. "Will you be alright?" I asked, as he gently slipped on his shirt back on. He nodded and kissed my hand. "Thank you, Zelda," he whispered, looking at me. "You're welcome," I replied, my heart racing.
