Lyrics by Stella Lefty. ******************************************************************** LYRICS (by Stella Lefty. I do not own them.) [Intro] On a train back to Boston and we're jumpin' the gun And I'm tellin' you baby, "This the part where I'd run" But I like it when you're nice, like it when you're nice to me [Verse 1] Well, there I was Swearin' I would never fall in love All my inhibitions walked out the second You said "What's up?" So, here we go I'm throwin' out the things I used to know I hate to admit it but I guess I'm not better alone [Chorus] On a train back to Boston and we're jumpin' the gun And I'm tellin' you baby, "This the part wherе I'd run" But I like it when you're nicе, like it when you're nice to me I don't know where it's goin' but don't wanna go back And usually I'd leave right at the thought of that But I like it when you're nice, like it when you're nice to me [Verse 2] Wakin' up by your side I see it when the mornin' hits your eyes You don't want me to leave Never knew I would be this along for the ride Last month, you were just another someone But now, we're headin' back to where you come from [Chorus] On a train back to Boston and we're jumpin' the gun And I'm tellin' you baby, "This the part where I'd run" But I like it when you're nice, like it when you're nice to me I don't know where it's goin' but don't wanna go back And usually I'd leave right at the thought of that But I like it when you're nice, like it when you're nice to me [Post-Chorus] I like it when you're nice to me I like it when you're nice to me [Outro] On a train back to Boston and we're jumpin' the gun And I'm tellin' you baby, "This the part where I'd run" But I like it when you're nice, like it when you're nice to me
Voice reveal except i'm horrible at singing and this is not a very good production. Boston by Stella Lefty is currently number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100, so I decided to remake it. The twist? I've never heard it, nor have I ever heard of Stella Lefty. I listened to the real thing after I finished this, and I did not expect the original to be borderline country lol. I made mine kinda pop/folk. Not inspired by Noah Kahan, but it gets very Noah Kahan esc in the chorus. Completely on accident but Noah Kahan is amazing so I'll take the W. Anyways, yeah. This isn't part of Halfway Home even though I produced it myself, it's sorta just a little passion project thing. I make lots of covers tho so maybe I'll start posting some here? Idk. lyrics are in the instructions except i kinda changed some of them to fit my melody. i would give you the chords but if I'm being honest, I made this yesterday night and already forgot them all so if you're honestly curious, capo on fret 1 and then it's some sort of arrangement of my generic 4 chords (C, Em, Am, G), with some sort of strumming pattern that's probably (DDUDUD) or something basic like that so i'm sure you could figure it out.
