Rev up the Porsche
The VK45.01(P) was Ferdinand Porsche's answer to the need for a new heavy tank. Based on the previous VK30.01(P), this design was rejected in favor of Henschel's design. 10 tanks and 90 chassis were built, with the 90 chassis being converted into the Ferdinand/Elefant tank destroyer.
