Despite being extremely chaotic and careless, he is very polite. note that he does NOT remember names unless he is really close to your cat.. even then, he will usually refer to them as 'friend'. even if they had a negative interaction, he'll still call them friend, probably just to annoy or confuse them. now if he hates your cat with a passion, I'm sure he'll remember their name just fine...
