[ hello, yes i am THE sailor or maybe im just normal average joe sailor. you'll never know. i play guitar, and i'm looking to be a musician when i'm grown. that means i'm part of that same genre of nerds who live amongst the average population by day and by night go down rabbit holes about David Bowie. yes he's also always my pfp that's how you'll recognize me! it's typically 1982s bowie with his blonde hair yippee. I also recently moved from @.-_incarnate_- so you might know me a bit better there ] 2. How active are you 1-10? Please, be honest. Being less active won’t necessarily hinder your chances [ okay this ones tricky. depending on the day, i'd say a 7/10? i'll definitely pop on multiple times a day, but its 50-50 chance that its over a straight hour or i'm just popping in, but every day for sure ] 3. How do you handle stressful situations, and is there anything you can improve on? [ stressful situations online do not bother me at all. in real life i usually shut down, use humor and cry about it while listening to music but i've gone through a ton of stressful stuff online and it kinda rolls off my back. i'm really good at dealing with stress, people and drama if I have my screen protecting me and time to think of a response. If i were to improve it would probably just be to let things go a lot easier, i have a habit of needing a conversation or an argument to be completely done before i stop fighting, it's real hard for me to just leave a conversation unfinished, even if its something like ragebait or a troll, but if i'm a manager i definitely have to fix that and try a bit harder.. which shouldn't be too hard ] 4. What would you bring to our studio? What would you do to help? [ okay so i'd like to think i'm a bit of a jack of all trades yk. i'll be active in the studio, so i'll be sort of a 'common face' / 'landmark' for newcomers or just the usuals that come on a lot (my pfps always the same guy, that helps!) if there's going to be a host rotation i could possibly, maybe pop on that too, since i come on multiple times a day and stuff, i can get to comment closings and rule breakings quickly. i'm also real good at forming long long long responses that fully explain a rule or a moral dilemma (ex: rule 6/1b) and i think that really helps in a manager position because detail makes you come off as more in charge, since you probably know what you're talking about if you yap that much about it. so i'm real good at pretending i know what i'm doing. that's it. i'm online, but i have enough of a life to be down to earth, and i'm good at small essays. ] 5. If you aren’t comfortable sharing, ignore this. It won’t affect your chances. [ 13 - 16 , if it helps i'm very often mistaken for someone older even by people who have kids. its wild. ] 6. Is there anything that could get in the way of you managing? [ see, i have to get on scratch through a laptop so if i'm out doing stuff i won't be able to get online but there's not much else since i can bring it on vacations ] 7. Do you have any experience? Both in real life and on scratch? [ i've managed in some roleplays ( I thiiink four.) but other than that no experience in chatrooms, and no experience in real life :,) ] 8. What differentiates you from other applicants? [ i'm a very logical person who's not quick to judge and is very easy to talk to. honestly i might be a little too soft if anything, but i don't get mad easily and i'm good at explaining stuff as well as handling drama and stress. and i'm active. yes. I think I could be good cause the community will recognize me better as the funny guy first and the manager second ] 9. Why do you want to manage? [ i'd like to get into the community more and make it a fun place, as well as put in my sort of helping hand to make the job a little easier. good managers really effect the way a chatroom runs, the inside jokes that go on inside it and the way people act so i'd like to do my part in making it a stress-free spot where everyone feels at ease and ready for something fun ] 10.
