“…welcome the the grove.” It seems you have stumbled upon a small group of cats, hidden away at the edge of the border. They are all different shapes, sizes, beliefs and strength levels. The one thing they have in common? Hope for a new beginning. … ——CONTENTS—— -Info - who are we? - meetings - special aspects - values - admission/punishments -Roles - general - skill flowers —— INFO —— - Who are we? - The Order of Nightshade is a collective of cats *based* in (but certainly not limited to) Urchinclan. The common goal they all share is to create a new society in the wake of the loss of Mossclan, to grow from the roots of pain and hardship into something new. (We’re not replacing mc, lowkey just creating our own space as a result of tragedy) - Meetings - This group meets at the Triclan (biclan now?) border once every third Saturday of the month oorp to share stories, grow the community and exchange ideas for the group’s future. Any cat can come to these meetings, as long as they have a cat already in the group to bring them along as a plus-one. Kits are not allowed at the meetings, but they are allowed in the group. This meeting place serves as a camp of sorts, a safe place for members to rp with other members of the group (to rp here, start at the border and specify your location as NIGHTSHADE CAMP to avoid confusions). This is where votes and other meeting will be held, and you will be pinged for that. - Special Aspects - This group does something no other does consistently - they will grant ASYLUM to any cat that asks for their aid, for a maximum of one oorp week. At that point, the cat taking shelter can decide to join the group to continue protection, or go off on their own. The Mediator (Sunfallpaw) is focusing on a peaceful and cooperative rebuilding. His internal goal as of now is to reconstruct what’s left of his home clan from the ground up, along with family and friends. We are the light in the dark, the army for peace. We are the ones who will rebuild your home, comfort your families, strengthen your bonds. - Values - Respect Intelligence Open-mindedness Strength/Protection Wide social networks/access to information - Admission/Punishments - Any cat (except kits for accessibility/safety reasons) may join this group, codeword is shade. That includes any age level or allegiance, including loners. Though it is simple to join, it’s also relatively easy to get removed (at least in your first few days). There is no official probation period, but you will be watched closely. - Possible reasons for removal - Murd3ring a group member Attacking a group member Giving away the location of a cat granted asylum Harassment of group member in any way Bringing a potentially dangerous cat to a meeting Cats *outside* of the group who commit these will most likely be permanently disallowed from joining. Punishments decided by the Mediator and the group (democracy). ——ROLES—— - General - Mediator - Peacemaker of the group, generally decides admissions and punishments with the aid of the group (democracy). Council Member/Specialist - TBD (to be developed as group gets larger and requires more structure)(hint - if you want this role, you must stay in the group for a long period of time) Nightshades - Members of the group who can be assigned skill-flowers that display what they do/can do for the group. - Skill flowers - [knight - poppy] (essentially fighters/guards to keep that group or those who can’t defend themselves safe from harm, called on only in times of need.) [hunter - clover] (bring in food for those who have taken asylum/those who can’t hunt for themselves. These cats generally stay at the meeting spot a lot.) [botanist - violet] (any cat with healing exp. Highly prized, highly selective, stays in meeting place for various stents of time (because busy).) [builder - buttercup] (creates and maintains the space for all members to inhabit and belong, holds heavy votes in elections, generally stay in the meeting place for long periods of time) [comms - lily-of-the-valley] (collects information and research material from beyond the meeting place, tends to be gone a lot, watched closely.) Each skill-flower is worn on a woven bracelet made by the mediator, gifted to your cat when they first arrive/join. Skill-flowers are self-assigned at first, but can be given or taken away based on cat development. … “…you’re safe with us.”
