Coves are the groups jackrabbits live in Each retains their own species There is 3 Northern lights (full name is Cove of The Northern lights) Species : Arctic Jackrabbits The Northern lights are Jackrabbits who are honorable and respectful but also highly tempered Due to the arctic tundras they don't take food theft lightly, seeing it as a crime punishable by death (but this depends on who is chief) Even losing one piece of food could lead to the death of many members in their eyes so they try to catch the most amount of prey before the blizzard season strikes These Jackrabbits are not to be faced in battle Due to their bulker and heavy build they are not easy to strike down. Taking border disputes seriously as well (but this depends on chief) Roleplay stuido: n/a --- Sky Hawks (full name Cove of the Sky and Hawks) Species : Feathered Jackrabbits Sky Hawks are mischievous by nature Taking home in the temperate forests of the territories and hiding in the trees like birds Many high ranks retain a bird of prey to show their status, the chief holding an eagle that never dies The eagle is passed down chief to chief and is the one who chooses if one is worthy of the position (don't worry about this if you are becoming chief) Sky Hawks don't worry much about food and borders, often mocking whoever is on the other side believing they are better for their ability to fly Roleplay studio: n/a --- Shadows (Full name Cove of The Shadows) Species : Night Jackrabbits Jackrabbits of the Shadows are usually very quiet, not speaking to the other coves unless absolutely necessary Their territories consists of the swamps and muddy pine forests Shadows retain a mastery is swimming as if the waters are their home Shadows high ranks often wear the largest moss and lilypads to show their status but the accessories are accessible to the others of the cove They also often hunt and patrol in the night drawn more to the stars then any other cove and often in complete silence unless it is a training patrol Roleplay studio: n/a --- Species guide : https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1330750758
Roles (closer to the top, higher the rank) Chieftain The Chieftain is the leader of their Cove They choose the rules and are highest in power within the cove A Chieftain though cam be overthrown either by rebellion or challenge from an individual If a challenge is made the two must battle If the Chieftain wins they may choose a worthy punishment If the Chieftain looses the individual demotes them and can choose to take their place Deputy The deputy is second in command, they take the Chieftains place after their desmise They have the second most power in the cove often assigning patrols and handling minor disputes between cove members They are appointed by the chief Herbalist The healers and prophets of the cove, they learn the ways of the afterlife and interpret dreams of the future Also learning how to heal with herbs The only role in the cove that can overpower the chief without challenging if the stars demand it be so and only when the stars demand it Council 4 jackrabbits within the cove that discuss major decisions like going to war with the chief and Deputy Each assigned a title by their chief depending in what they are the best at Like for example a Councilrabbit of battle or mediation But this os not required Warrior & Forger Warriors hunt for the cove, they also head into battle and are the ones responsible to handle border patrols but Foregers can patrol the border as well Foregers are less violent, they stay back taking care of elders and cubs while also acting like architects and builders, being the ones to build dens and keep them in check and sturdy Foregers are not to be underestimated though as they still get battle training and act is reinforcements if there is not enough warriors Trainees Trainees are jackrabbits in training, they learn the ways of their role before they take on the full duties, usually the juveniles of the cove Cubs Cubs are the babies, too young and weak to train, they spend their time with their mothers in the nursery until they are able to walk Elders The oldest of cove, too old to do duties anymore, often telling stories to the young and almost acting as historians helping keep the history of the cove known in the young - Notes for chiefs You may add roles but cannot remove these core roles If you wish to add one please discuss it with me before making anything
