A few days later. Marleen was the Keeper and Mia the Seeker for the Gryffindor team. There was practice again today. Marleen had made new friends through the training sessions. The team: Seeker: -Mia Andrew Keeper: -Marleen Granger Chasers: -Alexander Wood -Max Ollivander -Marie McGonagall Beaters: -Henri Abbott -Angelina Abbott After practice, Mia had gone to the library so Marleen went to the common room without her. “…?” “Wrong.” “Are there OWLs in the fifth year?” “Wrong.” This was the thing Mia heard when she arrived, arms full of books. “Quidditch and Gryffindor go well together!” Mia said the correct password. “Yes it is, young fellow.” The Fat Lady let them in, and they entered the common room. It was nice and cozy inside; the fire was burning in the hearth, and the air smelled of hot cocoa. The Gryffindors had recently acquired a small kitchen, though only students in their fifth year or above were allowed to use it. However, the older students often made hot cocoa for the younger ones—and cold lemonade in the summer. Marleen went to the kitchen to get some cocoa. A short while later, she returned with two cups; she gave one to Mia and drank the other herself, settling down with a blanket and her book. With that, she sat down in the armchair. “Hahhh…” Marleen sighed. “What?” “I’m not good at memorising. I can’t remember the code either!” “Oh, you’ll soon be better.” “I hope so.”
Collaborating with @Zoomy_’s Holly Granger series, which is now writing the story of Marleen Granger, Lilli’s daughter. Thanks to JK Rowling, Erin Hunter, and my friends for my ideas.
