Update with Winter's Rain Snowy is my retired horse, she's a Shetland who used to do dressage for little kids. Now that she's retired we mainly just do poles. But since I found Ace on my property I've noticed that she actually has a lot of potential to be a companion horse due to her sweet, calm personality. Now I'm going to start on some things to help her with that. So today I just worked on making sure she was completely comfortable in and around trailers. I pulled out the trailer and loaded and unloaded her several times, although I did put a ramp in place so she didn't have to do any jumping in her old age. (1-5) I then drove around a bit in the trailer, although not a lot as I don't have a trailer set for her and I don't want to put to much strain on her. (6-9) I then went back to Northridge, set up the ramp again and unloaded her and brought her back to her pasture. (10-11) Overall it was a great day with Snowy and I do think that she has a great deal of potential for a companion horse.
