The BT-42 was a Finnish assault howitzer based on the Soviet BT-7 chassis. Equipped with a brand new turret and British QF 4.5 inch (114mm) howitzer. 18 were built during the Continuation War with poor performance. The vehicle has gained a following from fans of the anime Girls und Panzer.
