She got down to the main level and went over to the kitchen. “I will find where mommy put the cookies!” Alaskah whispered. She pulled herself on the counter and started digging in the cabinet. “What are you doing, little miss?” Caroline smith said as her head peaked out the corner of the room. “Mom!” Alaskah jumped off the counter to look innocent. “Go back to bed. I have a surprise for you tomorrow!” Caroline said. “Eek! Ok!!” Alaskah squeaked quietly and ran back to her room. +++ “Mooommmmmmyyyyyyyyyy, where's the surprise!!” Alaskah said, running down the stairs to the kitchen. Mrs smith sipped her tea. “Well, I heard a girl your age was in the neighborhood this whole time!” She said. Alaskah squealed, “Yayyy!!,” before making a small bowl of captain crunch, “Squeal quieter, Alaskah,” Dakota half jokingly laughed. “Hey sib!” Alaskah mumbled in between bites of cereal. “Good morning, Koda,” Caroline said. She sipped her tea and told Alaskah to go see the new girl in the neighborhood. ++ +
