The side effects of the vaccination that I got on Tuesday 9th (during period 2, French, in the library) against HPV, a cancer causing virus, sound and ARE brutal! Here they are: - pain, redness, swelling, bruising or itching at the injection site - feeling or being sick (which I think can also mean feeling or being ill but I’m not sure) - dizziness - fever - headache - tiredness Currently, I am experiencing: pain at the injection site, feeling/being sick (I don’t have a high temperature, but I do feel like vomiting every now and then) and I feel weak too, in that physical way and I have a headache and I'm dizzy. And I have a fever. And a sore throat. So mum made me stay at home yesterday (Thursday 11th June, 2026) and today (Friday 12th June, 2026) instead of going to school, in case it was contagious. And my temperature was 37.3° yesterday… 0.3 degrees above the average body temperature :( and today, when I checked in the morning before breakfast (tea and two pieces of bread with just butter. I’ve sorta lost my appetite), it only went down by 0.1°. ONLY 0.1 DEGREES LESS AFTER ALMOST 10 HOURS SLEEPING!!! I HATE BEING ILL! IT’S THE PLAGUE OF MY LIFE! :( AND I’M ALWAYS ILL EITHER: IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SCHOOL YEAR, RIGHT BEFORE BREAKS AND/OR HOLIDAYS OR RIGHT AFTER BREAKS AND/OR HOLIDAYS! AND I’M RARELY ILL TOO!!! TToTT I didn’t go to school today (Monday 15th June, 2026) too (that’s now Thursday, Friday and today! Three days wasted without beautiful school!) because just as I was feeling better yesterday… it all went downhill again today. Yesterday, my voice went a bit… funny. Weird. Bad. I sounded like Lilliana from my Maths class, or- or like Barbie from Helluva Boss! And then today, when mum woke me up at 6:30 for school, I had such a sore throat that talking and swallowing involved too much pain to even talk about!!! TToTT and then my throat stopped hurting as much, but probably because the coughing and weird voice came back…
