(slide1)So, this is an idea for a possible Smp! (IN LIKE TWO-THREE YEARS!)(prob gonna involve yt) In this world, there are two categories of people: Faefolk and Humans. The Fae are a newly emerged species, who came from a shipwreck found near the Human town. The Humans were hesitant to help the Fae, but did, and they set up a little town for them, far away from all Human settlements. The town is called Lantern (a joke to how the Fae took to it), and is completely run by Faefolk. Most Humans don't come near the town, seeing as they are nervous about the Fae (or completely despise them). But a few come to it, curious about the Faefolk, and sometimes, the Fae come to the towns, mostly trying to learn about Humans and their world. Species of Fae: (slide2)Goblins: These are a short being with long, droopy ears, and a tail. Their skin is normally green, grey, or blue, but sometimes can be a shade of earthy brown. They are sensitive to light, and often wear a form of sunglasses during the day to protect their eyes. They're very strong-willed, and have a strange affinity to gold and shiny things. They're good at climbing as well, seeing as they were born in cavernous lands. (slide3)Avians: A humanoid bird-like being, with head wings, normal wings, and sometimes a tail, as well as bird feet. They are able to fly relatively quickly, but they're very weak in other ways. They have brittle bones, and aren't very good at fighting. However, they have strong claws on their feet, and are not to be messed with. (slide4)Fairy: A winged being, normally with bug-like wings, and pointed ears. They're able to fly, and are a bit stronger than Avians. Some are also fabled to have magic relating to the seasons, but that has yet to be proved. Fairies can also have bug antennae or other bug appendages, but those are a rarer feature on them. (slide5)Merlings: These are humanoid fish-like creatures, often covered in scales, although some have skin. They often have gills on their necks, fins on their heads, strong tails, and webbing between their toes and hands. They can live on land, but prefer the water, as they can dry out if on land too long. It is fabled that some have a sirens song, but it's yet to be proved. (slide6)Satyr: A humanoid goat-like being, who has goat ears and hooves, sometimes had horns, and often has a goat tail. They are good in mountainous regions, and are very agile. They also have very strong legs and amazing hearing. (slide7)Anthropomorphs: Animal-like humans. They can be any animal, but are considered separate to most other animal-like species. Their abilities depend on what species they are. Some people think they're the product of Human and Faefolk production, but this is yet to be confirmed. However, they are some of the ones specifically targeted by Humans. (slide8)Changelings: These are a species that are kind of hard to describe. They are referred to as blank canvases, often showing as whatever they want to look like. They are able to shapeshift into any kind of Fae, so their real look isn't known, however, those who have seen an un-shifted Changeling have claimed they are all white with red eyes, and look similar to elves in a way, but this is yet to be confirmed. (slide9)Chimera: These are any creature who looks to be more than one Fae, meaning they're likely a species made of Fae hybrids. Their abilities depend on what species they're hybrids of. (slide10)Hexers: These beings look similar to humans, apart from the black or purple shade of skin on their hands and feet, and sometimes face. They are similar to witches, which makes them a scary thing to run into, but they are a rare species, so not many people have seen them. Their source of magic is unknown, but many people believe it to be a wand or staff, following the traditional witch stories. (slide11) Sporlings: A creature who looks vaguely human, but has mushrooms growing out of most parts of their body. They are also known to have black spots around where the mushrooms grow from the skin and black or yellow eyes. They are able to spread mushrooms, and are stronger when around them. (slide 12) Welcome, to Lamplight SMP.
Better art will come eventually I would love help on this, seeing as I'll need help running it, paying for it probably (servers are expensive), and help with the mods and things. I don't know a lot about running a server so any help would be welcomed. Imma be building stuff probably to try and figure out a build style for Lantern :3 (there will also be a Human settlement or two)
