Welcome to: THE JOURNEY FOR GOLD! You are a chinese Migrant, migrating to NZ. In this board game, you will the the challenges, supports and struggles of the Chinese Migrants of the 1800's. Now get the board ready, read the rules and get playing! Sometimes, you need to press the green flag twice to load the buttons (Rules, Board, Play!). I dunno why that keeps on happening. Please understand. In the beginning, you may see the buttons "shivering". It seems like a code issue (not very much of a glitch...), but I guess migrating isn't such a warm thing to do! (Haha) ❤️, ⭐ and follow @JnG_Education for support! What is "An EDU Board Game", you ask? Well, straightforwardly, it's an educational board game (I had no space to write "Educational". It's a long word)! This Board Game teaches you about one of the first Migrants of NZ; the Chinese! They came for the gold in Otago, at the 1800's. Back then, they were discriminated, racially prejudiced, and had a POLL TAX (Similar to the one in the game; you must pay to enter NZ). Use this Board Game to understand the struggles and risks they went through. EXTRA: VERSION 2 (HOMESICK)!!! If all players agree, you may go back from NZ - CHINA after your China - NZ journey. Ignore the Poll Tax, and you can take the whirlpool mark you ignored on version 1. The NZ - China journey starts when everyone has arrived at the end, and the dice roll goes counter-clockwise, beginning with player 4. (Version 1/China-NZ: Player 1, 2, 3, 4. Version 2/NZ-China: Player 4, 3, 2, 1) You can screenshot the Board and print it out if you wish.
Help! Centre 1. Once you press "Play!", you cannot go back to the rules (You must restart the game) so it's a good idea to have read the rules carefully, and maybe have another tab open with the "Rules". If this project gets more than 50 ❤️'s then I might write the rules in the "Instructions". 2. More "Help" from the comments/real-life testing!
