But this energy is unstable. If it overflows, it destroys them; if it drains, they perish. To keep them alive and balance the universe, a secret alchemy project was initiated in a futuristic, hidden laboratory. The result? ELIXIR:7. The girls are seven genetically perfected, highly dangerous synthetics (or "Alchemists") created from the DNA of the Enhypen members. They are the "cure" and the "antidote." Each girl holds the exact counter-chemical (the Elixir) to her lookalike's volatile power. ELIXIR:7 was supposed to be a mindless, submissive cure kept in stasis pods. But they developed consciousness, broke out of the lab, and realized their purpose: If they stay away from Enhypen, the boys' power will consume them. But if they get too close, their powers will fuse and cause a cosmic explosion.
