The asteroid is struck, tearing away a large amount of the exterior rock and damaging an armour plate within, sending it spinning as it's guns activated. The battleship si struck shortly afterwards by multiple railgun shells, (hopefully) causing moderate damage as three Interceptor squadrons and a pair of frigates mobilise to intercept the battleship before it can get a deadly shot off on the base.
