I actually like this, it's quite mysterious! [ Name ~ Pool ] - [ Gender ~ Male ] - [ Species ~ SeaWing ] - [ Orientation ~ Straight ] - [ Age ~ 15 y/o ] - [ Location ~ Sea Kingdom ] - [ Role ~ Jobless/poor ] - [ Personality ~ Shy, kind, loyal, caring, curious ] - [ Power(s) ~ Strong tail, can swim very fast, ] - [ Extra ~ Membranes on spines are slightly transparent. not sure why yet ] [ -- LORE -- ] Pool woke up in his bed, feeling crappy already. He stood up and walked out of his room, finding his sister, Boat, running up to him. Pool stopped walking and stared down at her sister. "...yes, Boat?" He said politely. Boat sighed, "I'm hungry again, Pool. When are you going to get food?" She asked. Pool's ears drooped slightly. "Oh... yeah... I was just going now, actually." Pool Walked out of their small hut and dived into the water with a loud splash. The hut was made of the wood of palm trees, palm leaves, etc. That you could find on this desolate island. (See, that's how poor they are) Pool swam around, heading towards the royal kingdom. He'd been poor all his life. His family had been poor for so long. He swam into the kingdom, searching for some fish for them to eat. He spotted a stand with some nice looking salmon and squid. Pool squinted his eyes and swam as slowly and quietly as he could towards the stand. He suddenly darted forward, snatching all of the salmon and squid, and then bolted. The stand owner shouted, and guards instantly started the chase. Pool glanced over his shoulder. The guards were much bigger, older, and faster than him. Pool weaved under large rock structures to slow them down. He continued to swim fast and faster, not even knowing where he was at the moment. He soon stopped, panting slightly. He looked over his shoulder and noticed that the guards were long gone... but where was HE? Pool glanced around frantically. He was in the middle of the ocean. There was nothing but miles of blue, and below it just got bluer and darker. Pool sighed and started going one direction. [ -- TWO HOURS LATER -- ] Pool had been swimming in this empty sea for two hours now, still not finding anything. he refused to eat. The food was for his family, and he remained loyal. he didn't want them to starve. He wouldn't stop until he found his way home. Pool stared downward, looking at the black below. He had to see what was down there... besides, what did he have to lose? Pool dived, swimming fast down. Suddenly, it got pitch black. he couldn't see anything AT ALL. Suddenly, a small light formed. Pool gasped quietly, letting out a flurry of bubbles. It was a small globe emitting light! The globe started almost drifting away from Pool. Obviously, Pool followed. The more he followed it, the more globes began to appear, and the more he could see. The globe eventually led him to a hole in the middle of the ground. It was a small hole, but just big enough for him to enter it. Pool took a deep breath and swam into the hole. He swam for a good thirty seconds before it started getting bright. He soon made it to the other side, and was visibly surprised. His jaw fell open. It was a hole underground/underwater secret SeaWing kingdom! There was every color of seaweed and coral you could find, and there were large towers that were pink and light blue. He could also see lots of bright, colorful SeaWings swimming everywhere! he was still holding his food tightly. Pool swam in, glancing all around in this new world. Dragons were smiling at him and waving. He'd never experienced any of this in the normal Sea Kingdom. Suddenly, he accidentally bumped into another SeaWing. "Ack!" He cried, letting out lots of bubbles. They both reeled back, but the SeaWing looked back at him with kindness. If this happened in the Sea Kingdom, the dragon he'd ran into would be all shouting and cursing at him. This SeaWing stared at him like he had potential. The SeaWing was a bright pink with light pink eyes that sparkle. "S-sorry! I should be more careful..." Pool flashed shyly. "No, it's okay. Are you new?" The SeaWing asked. Pool blinked. How did she... know that? "Um... yes. I got lost and found this place, " he flashed. The SeaWing smiled slightly. "We know everybody here. And don't take this the wrong way, but... your scales are... kinda dull and colorless?" Pool flinched slightly. "Uh... yeah. I get that, I guess..." "Well, we know you now!" The SeaWing flashed energetically. "So, what's your name?" She asked patiently. Pool hesitated. "Um... Pool. You?" The SeaWing's gills flared playfully. "I'm Angel." Pool smiled slightly. Angel... the name sounded pretty. Angel grabbed his arm. "Well, come on! I have to show you around!" Pool let out a startled squawk as he was practically dragged around with her. Angel showed him everything. The market, the egg nursery, and even her own tower. Pool smiled warmly. It was pink. Of course it was. Pool walked around with her in her home.
