(Music: 君に贈る未来 / 初音ミク・鏡音リン) Happy pride month!! :D For this year I decided to draw my space ace OC, Birch. Since she likes to draw and what not I just drew this, including some references I found online. I think it turned out well. The shading took forever, but the outer white strokes on the drawing really make it stick out well. It almost looks like a sticker that I could put on my notebook (but probably not since I live in a household against gays lmao) I don’t think I’ve ever officially announced this, but yes, Birch is asexual. :) In the story her coming out arc is supposed to come after her main character arc, which is already in Eclipse. This is because her main arc needs to go first before she gets the confidence to speak up with her friends for certain matters. I don’t want to spoil the entire thing so once Eclipse comes out, and then the specific book of her coming out book, it will make more sense. However, in Eclipse, I think I already shown some slight hints that she is asexual. She’s fascinated by stars, has a book of constellations that she brings around when stargazing, adores Mushroom Stew, etc. In future books she is repulsed against the idea of having children and stuff, but then again, I don’t want to reveal everything. I haven’t even gone to that part of the series yet! Anyway, that’s just a little more on Birch’s character. I’ve taken a lot more seriousness in writing her since, in the past, she was some rude Mary sue ahhh emo girl (i look back at the old chapters every now and then-).
