With the "declaration of war" upon pirates by Gredzka, the confederation called uupon it's members and formed The Pirate Coalition, a temporary alliance of almost every confederation pirate group to defend against the gredzkans. Raids upon Gredzkan supply transports are almost constant, nearly every supply convoy struck at least once on it's journey, forcing their military to either split a massive amount of their forces to defendings convoys or let their supply lines be crippled. The "frontline" if you can call it that is not a conventional war. Ships hide in asteroid fields and pick off scout patrols whilst major fleets are entirely avoided, robbing the gredzkans of a decisive victory and slwoly whittling down forces available to fight to try and minimise support for this war.
