Gosh this video took me like a week of panic to make, and I was so terrified when I couldn’t upload it to scratch, but now it’s on YouTube so yay i guess! I apologize that not all of the features had been on the dragon for very long in the video, the design is awesome but a MONSTROSITY to animate. Hope you like/liked it! The song is Aria Math from Minecraft, it fits the vibes I was going for this character. Aaaand im done ranting byeeeee! (They=dragon btw) Tranquility has been around for so long they can’t remember when they first existed. They remember every unique event, like a baby birds first flight, or the moment the last of a species dies, and the species fades, and every single place where that happened. Theyre used to change, as one would when they have existed for billions of years. But ever since humans started colonizing the planet, change has come too quickly, and they fear that the planet may not regrow from it. The special places of memory are fading all too quick. At first, Tranquility respected the humans deeply, and even named themselves Shimmering Tranquility in honor of their creation of highly complex language. But it was not to last. They first doubted the planet’s regrowth when they lost a place they held dear. It’s changed much over the years, but it never failed to provide a safe space when such mass extinction events would happen. At the time it had been a forest, but during what the humans called the Medieval Times, some villagers had seen Tranquility, and burned down the forest in fear. The place is now where a city has been built, and they may never be able to return. They wanted desperately to leave behind the name they gave themselves, but could not. They now watch civilizations and species from a distance, fearing the day they may fade forever. Summary: big old dragon with insane memory gets an existential crisis when animals think. Sorry if that was confusing I had no idea how to put this into words :’)
