For the past few years (I believe its a few years I have no idea how long its been in CBMV lore) Voidias international relations have been... souring... the RRN which was once a major Voidian ally has annoyed the Gemati quite a bit. Voidia cannot afford a war. Yet the RRN continues to sour relations. The Aculon are another. While the Voidian transactions of 1/5th of its territory is (surprisingly enough) actually not looked down upon (as much of the Voidian population understands that this was caused by extreme incompetence in leadership) the Aculons aggressive expansion has cut Voidia off from the rest of the Galaxy (border wise). This has predictable consequences. However the largest is the cultural polarization. The majority of Voidians have never actually seen their allies do anything good for Voidia. To the Voidian perspective they fight for their allies. Yet those same allies not only demanded territory, but cut them off, and forced them into diplomatic troubles. The vote for the Judicial and Parliamentary Houses is coming... if relations (and public opinion) do not stabilize the result may be catastrophic. However looking away from that. The Voidian public has become increasingly pro isolationist. It was the Compact War that caused all this, it was getting involved in foreign affairs that got Voidia into this, it was the Voidian people blindly accepting and helping its allies that got them into this mess. Combine this with Voidias own already tragic history and the public opinion is inevitably going to be polarized. The Voidian government has thus taken... drastic measures. To ensure that the RRN no longer affects relations with the Gemati it has announced that it will conduct a peacekeeping occupation of the RRN. The hope is that this occupation can effectively keep the RRN at bay, especially because actually attacking Voidia will result in some unwanted consequences. Another (smaller) fleet has been deploy into Terra-Kefeon to stabilize the nation. Voidia has also begun major infastructre operations in the GDE, while also replacing much of the military with Voidian ship designs. The hope is to have a large battle ready force as competent and advanced as the Voidian military (it'd also make occupying Kefeon and RRN easier). Not only that but Voidia has begun again with constructing more Dyson swarms in both its territory and the GDE. These actions the government have done are of up most importance and could change the course of galactic history. May we pray for the safety of our Voidian brothers in arms and for this to succeed. May we pray the Imparat never takes hold.
