This is a first installment in a new thing I am trying! Constellation art! —What this is— -it’s art of constellations in the night sky -completely by me -helps me memorize where stuff is in the night sky, that’s what like “M29” and stuff is -pretty for you guys to look at —Today— -Cygnus the swan constellation -a couple open clusters and nebula -enjoy!!! FOR THE BEST RESULTS MAGNIFIED I RECOMMEND SPAMMING CLICKING AND MOVING THE MOUSE
Next week or maybe day or two it will be a different constellation so check in on that! All by me, then color inverted! Constellation fun fact: Albireo, as marked on the map, is actually a double star, which could mean two things: From our perspective they look close together but be really far from each other, or they are an orbiting binary star system. Albireo is an optical double, which means they aren't orbiting, it is a chance alignment. It is known because of the color contrast between the two, with one being orange and the other blue.
