McFarlane to relocate the 11th Unmanned Systems Brigade from Fort Huachuca, Arizona, to Schofield Barracks, Paiea Islands. This decision was made to better defend the Paiea Islands as a logistics hub for near-peer operations in the Rheic and Alaksandrian Ocean areas.
