~~Ally "Hey," I whispered as I grabbed his hand. "Look at me." His gaze stayed planted to the ground. Gently, I lifted his chin until he made eye contact with me. "There," I said. "Now listen to me. Really listen. It's going to be okay." A silent tear slid down his cheek. "It feels like I'm losing everything. How could that be okay?" My heart ached. I wrapped my arms around his middle, and he rested his head on mine. "Gods got you Teddy. You'll never lose him. And..." I hesitated. "And what?" He asked. I could feel more tears of his hitting my hair, but I couldn't care less at this point. I just wanted to make his pain go away. "Me." I choked on the word. "You'll /never/ lose me." His silent tears turned to full on sobs as he wrapped his arms around my shoulders. "Thank you." He sobbed. "Because I don't want to lose you. You're my best friend." I leaned back and smiled up at him. "And you're mine." Shakily, he pulled back from the hug and took a deep breath. "I just thought I'd have more time with everyone but now..." He sighed. "It hurts knowing I'll never be able to do it again." "I know Teddy. I do, and honestly, I would anything to change that." I replied, tucking a strand of my brown hair behind my ear. "I'm glad we met at camp last year. It was one of the best things that ever happened to me, even though I didn't know it then." I smiled. "Me too." We stood there, smiling at each other for the longest time, before Teddy cleared his throat. "I, uh, I should go." He ran his fingers through his messy raven hair. "Okay." I gave him another quick hug. "Call me if you need anything okay?" "Of course." He smiled down at me. I turned to leave. "Um, Ally?" I turned back. "Yes?" He walked up to me, took my hands and planted a small, gentle kiss on my forehead. "Thanks again. For everything."
